Killdozer is my favourite movie involving a psychopathic dozer on an island, come to think of it I don't know of any other movie involving a psychotic bulldozer. With Killdozer we are digging the deep, deep sludge goodness of made for tv movies. The question is, does Killdozer bulldozer our low expectations and help us construct a reason to watch it? Short answer is yes.

The plot of Killdozer is quite strange, best not to overthink it. The movie starts with an asteroid hurtling towards the planet earth. It lands on an island, an island that has a construction/demolition crew preparing the island for the arrival of a mining company. Yeah, who cares about the environment, we got plenty left. The island has to be prepared and the aforementioned asteroid is in the path of a dozer. As the dozer attempts to remove it the asteroid starts to glow, as does the digger blade, until the glow shoots out hitting one of the workers. The wounded man tells the other worker what happened then dies. The digger now has sentient consciousness and it wants to kill everyone. What follows is a cat and mouse game of death as the remaining construction workers attempt to avoid and stop the psychotic runaway digger.

There is a decent movie but you have to get beyond your disbelief that grown men could not ourun a big clunky bulldozer. I mean you would have to literally just get up to a gentle joggjng speed to outrun it? It is a low budget movie but it is fun. The movie also stars Clint Walker who was a great actor in those sorts of roles in B movies. The other actors are a mixed bag and the dialogue is corny at times. The special effects are adequate but mostly consist of a digger driving and flashing it's lights. The movie does start to drag a bit but I have watched movies with huge budgets that are worse, lookihg at you Alien: Covenant.

6 out of 10

Summary: silly but fun b movie, drags a little and with some unintentional humour.
